Well, it finally happened. Someone sat me down and got me to look inside my own noggin’. I always thought that person would be Bob Newhart, as Dr. Robert Hartley. It turned out the doctor wasn’t in, and I couldn’t be happier.
Instead, it was the multitalented, energetic, and inspiring Cheryl Ilov that got me to sit down, look inside and try to consolidate my thoughts. As someone who sees connections in everything, it can be impossible for me to stay on topic. What others may see as tangents I simply see as connections.
Cheryl leveraged her FemiNinja powers and 14+ years of Ninpo Tai Jutsu Training to somehow harness an hour of coherent thoughts. I am incredibly grateful to have spent the time with her. In a world that wants us to find our niche, it was refreshing to be approached by someone who understands the value of diversity and connections.
